Kayak Fishing on Big Island

Post by truelawaia » Thu Apr 03, 2008 11:06 am

One of my fellow True Lawaia Fishing Club members has a scupper one man and I have a double kayak. We go to various places and troll / bottom fish. I am yet to jump out into the deep blue to shoot pelagic fish but I feel that I am ready for that kind of intensity. You never know what will show up, our friend caught that 450 lb marlin off south point freediving, so go figure!

Anyhow - I am looking for someone that would like to go into the deep blue with me and shoot some ono's, mahi mahi's, ahi's or any other big fish. Let me know if you're capable and comfortable enough to do this with me. Ideally you would already have experience pelagic spearfishing and you could guide me as my skills keep developing. My gear is not a problem finding another ready willing & able partner is.

If you have a kayak and just want to bottom fish or troll with someone, I'd be up for that too. We're currently looking for new members that are interested in joining the True Lawaia FIshing Club.

Let me know if you like go...
