portable wok and burner

Post by melkapule » Mon Jul 03, 2017 9:04 am

I am looking for a small and light burner and wok for cooking while camping. Any ideas? Any on big island, if not Oahu? Maybe just a wok and I can use a portable propane single burner stove from Longs. 18-20" diameter.
Thank you.

Have tried the butane single stoves? ...Wal-Mart ...kona... Carry the single burner..with propane..I got one ...small light weight...easy to set up...

Wal-Mart also carry the wok shape pots too...

Nice thing about woks...cooks Every thing...easy to clean...once you get it season

Kona..Amerigas...has some nice wok sets...

Aloha

I found an 18" carbon steel wok at Airgas above Costco. Dual metal handles. works good and cost 55$. Wing Co. single propane burner can be found a little cheaper at Waimea Ace Hardware for 112$.
Now to find cooking utensils.
