My Chinese father-in-law's recipe is so different. Give it a try. 1.5 lbs oio or fresh fish cake, 2 lbs ground pork, 1 large can chopped water chestnuts, 2 eggs, 3 or 4 stalks green onion chopped, handfull shitake mushrooms chopped. Use Sesame oil in a frying pan and fry about 3 - 4 inches round patties. Serve with dry yellow mustard/shoyu for dipping sauce and enjoy! Can also make soup or fried gau gee with the same recipe. This recipe is a winner, enjoy!

Remember, can stretch the mix a lot, with water.
Almost a 3rd more. Lots of people on Molokai i know almost stretch em closer to 1/2.

IMO
Nothing better than Lomi Oio, a small tupperware of nice sized salted A'ama crab & some Poi.......& a few green bottles. :P
