looks like it might be some trying conditions this year, and with even more tournament entrants than ever. looks like the south side is getting a decent swell and the island is due for some weather. guys and girls, goodluck finding a spot out there and stay safe. have fun and hope to see you guys and some monsters at the weigh in

Hello, Thank-you omer110 for posting the results....Mike Tokunaga appreciate the posting...

Just want to add...535 entrants...23 from outside island, one from mainland...and 11 were women... Jackpots went to the first top 5 places for largest Ulua and largest Omilus... approx $5000 total for the top 5 places... in each catagory...

One person told Mike T... He wanted to disquilify his fish...but if it was OK to weigh the fish... IN the end ,,,because he was honest...Mike T... awarded him a special prize... One Ulua pole... "WOW"....

It was a great turn out...everyone who show up got additonal door prize...Plus drawings for "many" great, super prizes...including two grand prizes (two) $800.00 shimono reels...several Ulua poles, and tons of gift certicates, spinning rods, and other cool stuffs...

Aloha,

that guy's fish was tangled on some mooring lines early in the morning like around 4, when i got up they ask me if i could get the fish for them, so i did. i think the fish weighed 60+, he was stoked getting the fish because his moving in couple weeks to the mainland. good karma, my wife won a torium 50 and i got a fillet knife and head lamp for t&g. i never got a fish to weigh but i caught ahi, uku, kahala, barracuda & a bunch of rainbow runners & akule, maybe me and my wife will try the hcc tourney. shootz!! burt
