If you look at any tide calenders.. It will be the very tip of the highs and low points... adjust for your areas by looking the time charts...

Usually 1/2 hour before the peak highs and peak lows till about 1/2 hour.. between those times we consider the slack tides...OR

when the tides are NOT moving in or out...! Got it...? After a while..you can tell just by watching the oceans and shorelines... and some can smell it too...LOL...

We always slide our baits about 1/2 hour before the peaks highs and lows tides... funny many times you will get more strikes on the peak low tides...
ocean is moving out..hiding the smells of the Uluas..and bait fishes moving into deeper waters... "hanapaa"...

Slack tides..creates the most bites for Ulua fisherman....! Study this well....!

Aloha, for all you 'slacker's...out there... work the poles more...LOL Enjoy the fishing!
