Kahana Bay

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried and caught fish in kahana bay. i went the other morning and whipped with a 1/2oz Mark White Oama and didnt even get a strike.

The kahana bay water always looks kinda dirty (muddy) when I past there. I think if you want to catch something, you either have to go with crab nets or go for the hammer shark or batman.

Well as I remember I used to like to fish the stream/river that is before you cross the bridge to Kahana Bay coming from Kaneohe . The mouth of that stream is killer for 1 to 1 1/2 lb white papio.
But you Must use an egg float and use opai and slowly drag your line from the mouth of the stream .back to you ohh and don't be surprised at what might come up...!

Trust me that stream outlet is a hot spot for papio..been hitting that spot for many years not like hard core kine . but when I did go always come home with my share of 2 or 3 nice papio's from 3/4lb up to 1 1/2 lbs
