Big Island Camping

Post by aaronarms » Sun Jan 19, 2014 9:50 pm

Can anyone please help me with a SAFE and EASY camping spot on the Big Island. I want to find a place that I can take my family when we want to go. Off-Roading is ok, just not too long, and also low-line cliff or beach would be preferred (safer for the keiki).

Any input would be great! Thank you!
Main thing get bait in the water...

Maybe even kohala coast from the harbor to kapaa beach park short off road some roads bad but get so many just Cruz down and if not try another. Sometimes windy and the closer to kohala (hawi) the more chance of rain. Guarantee fun for the kids catching small game on the hand poles. Some spots get sand or small bays but overall not to may high cliffs or nothing like down south. This is where my dad would take us as kids and this is where we still go when we get time.
Worth a try hope this helps

Unless your local there's not to many safe spots and even then sketchy.
