Trash bagging for Mahi mahi's

Post by kona-ulua-style » Sun Nov 02, 2014 4:34 pm

My son and his friends went to South Point for small game fishing ( Menpachi and Aweoweo) They set one Ulua pole on sucides and one trash bag rig....

They caught two Mahi-mahi's ( approx. 12lb each) and one barracuda using the trash bagging methods...

His first ever mahi's from the shore lines...using the trash bag style..

Trashing bagging at south point sometimes produces ..Marlin ,ahi, Aku, Uku, Rainbow runners as well as uluas...along with Mahi's and barrcudas..

Trash bagging is just another method of fishing. Very few places will allow to trash bag fishing too... South Point is well known for this style of fishing..

Aloha,
