Can catch once in a while, but a lot of time, nothing. White papio, oio, awa, barracuda. And yes, the damn crabs pound your bait, so gotta check often.

Haven't fished lagoon in awhile, but had alot of Papios, kaku, and crabs back in the day.

Awhile back I used to fish near da canal mouth. Used to only catch papios nd choke kaku. Went back bout 6mo. Ago to da same spot. Was dead, or jus a slow day. but had choke homeless dea.
